This weekend

To start off the weekend we cleaned house. Carissa gets to watch us clean the kitchen from her Jump Up and has more fun than I do cleaning.

My parents came down on Sunday to stay with us a night since they both had Monday off for the "we need a day off" excuse of a holiday.

Catching Up on the Week

Sorry I haven't posted all week. It's been pretty busy and we've been getting home late. So, here are some photos of the fun Carissa has been having in between our busyness.

Grant

Grant leaves next week to serve in Iraq for 9 months. It's a little scary and kind of sad to see him leave, but we're all proud of him. Carissa will miss her uncle. We love you Grant, and will keep you in our prayers.

My Baby Sister Is Getting Married

It's hard for me to believe, but Katie is getting married. Jake proposed on Jan. 24 and she said yes. I expected that it would happen, but now that it has, I'm not sure I expected it so soon. We're all happy and excited for them both though. They'll be getting married sometime this summer (July-ish). Here is a pic of them both (and of the ring for the lady-folk out there).

She's Growing Up

Carissa's growing up faster than we can keep up. She's doing so many new things and we never seem to be able to catch her doing them with the camera or on video. She's blowing raspberries like crazy, fake coughing to get our attention, and giggling and laughing so much it makes my side hurt. I got to looking through some pictures at work today and I picked out some of her best faces. You've seen them before but they're worth re-posting.

My parents came down to spend time with Carissa today.
