Playing Outside

Carissa loves playing catch with Tillie but after a while she would just rather play with the ball herself.

The Hat

Carissa likes to wear hats outside (her mother has kind of forced this upon her, for good reason). She has two little ball caps that Grandma got for her. This is one of them.

Frogs

Carissa and I went on a walk today and found some frogs. She really likes them until they jump. Then, they are too scary to be around.

Enjoying the Weekend

The weather here has been amazing for an August in Missouri. Carissa needs her time outside and lets us know it. That's okay with us, though. We love spending time running around with her.

Sonic Snack

We went to Sonic tonight for a family date. Carissa was having a great time running around until two motorcycles pulled up. She was very curious but quite concerned.

Lion's Club Park

We're enjoying some play time tonight. Carissa is actually smiling at Christina through a crack.

Montauk State Park

Carissa and I took a trip to Montauk State Park this morning. She loved watching people fish and even watching the fish swim around in the water. One guy even caught a fish while we were watching and she yelled at it.

Outdoors Again

Carissa really loves wagon rides. You would know this if you were at her birthday party :)

She also loves to ride the 4-wheeler with Papa.

Celebrating 50 Years

On August 8th we celebrated my grandparents 50th anniversary. We spent the afternoon with family and looking at old slides of my grandparents. It was great!

We were at my aunt's house the night before so when Carissa woke up, she wanted to go outside.

Dinner Time Has Changed

Eating dinner has gotten a lot more messy. And that might be Carissa's new smile.

Hanging Out

We are at my Aunt Becky's house tonight. Carissa is quite comfortable here as she is the center of attention :) Carissa just wanders around playing with anything she can get her hands on.

The Church Nursery

Carissa loves going down to the nursery at church. She'll walk out of the office and head down the hallway on her own if I'm not paying attention. Lucky for me, there is a tv with cable in there. ESPN saves the day! (photo below edited with apps on my iPhone)

Playing Outside

Carissa must go outside daily. She has started going to the door and hitting it to let us know she wants to go out.

Of course, something always ends up in the mouth. I quickly took to the shot so I could get over to her and fish out the object in question.

Wagon Ride

Weather is oddly warm today, about 90*f. We were very spoiled with cool weather in July.

Weekend At Home

We got to relax at home this weekend. Carissa enjoyed some time outside as well as some time at Christina's parents up the road. Carissa needed some quality time in a basket tonight.
