Carissa loves this little toy puppy. Maybe someday we'll get a real puppy for her. For now, this one is much easier to maintain.

Carissa's First Assembly

Carissa and I traveled Friday to my old middle school (and where my mom still teaches) to celebrate the completion of a project. Back when I was in 8th grade, we began to collect aluminum can tabs in hopes to gather 6 million tabs to represent the 6 million lives lost in the Holocaust.

Carissa had no problem being around almost 1,000 other kids.

Garden Time

Carissa helped us plant a few squash plants and other vegetables on Sunday. It was a bit cool but otherwise a very enjoyable afternoon outside. We're utilizing some landscaping in the back yard for a garden this year since we didn't have the time to build a proper garden. That's a project for next year!
